Shawn Collins Nominated for Statewide Endorsement at the 2022 California Republican Party Convention

MARCH 28, 2022 — TRABUCO CANYON, CA – Today Shawn Collins obtained the required nominations to be eligible for endorsement at the California Republican Party (CRP) Convention. At the Convention, which takes place April 22-24, 2022 in Anaheim, Collins will have the opportunity to address CRP delegates and share his story, vision, and solutions for California. Candidates for each statewide office are then voted on by CRP delegates for the official CRP endorsement.

“As a political newcomer, I am honored to have been given the platform to share my vision for a better California. Government has done enough to kill the California dream. It’s time to reverse course and empower the people for a brighter future. I have seen firsthand the struggle that everyday Californians face, I will bring back opportunity and prosperity for the people of California,” said Collins.

“This campaign is about offering honest solutions that will lift families and communities up. We can and will make California the best place to start a small business, give parents a real voice in their children’s educations, and bring compassion and law and order together to end the human tragedies on our streets.”

To be eligible for statewide endorsement, Candidates must have met the following qualifications:

  • Been continuously registered as a Republican residing in California for at least one (1) year prior to the start of the CRP 2022 Endorsement Convention; and,
  • Obtained nominations for endorsement from at least two hundred (200) CRP delegates in good standing using the CRP secure endorsement portal no less than thirty (30) days prior to the convention.
